HAVERHILL BOROUGH MAKE IT THREE THROUGH IN FA CUP

Despite having no league points so far this season Haverhill Borough have become the third Thurlow Nunn League side into the First Qualifying Round of the FA Cup. They beat Ilford 5-2 in Tuesday evening’s replay with Charlie Holmes netting twice.Borough now entertain Southern League King’s Langley on September 2nd.

The other two Thurlow Nunn League sides, Saffron Walden Town and Haverhill Rovers, lost their Tuesday replays with Barking, 4-3 winners in a thriller at Saffron Walden, becoming Gorleston‘s visitors in the next round.

Stowmarket Town travel to Bostik league Romford this evening (Wednesday) as they try and make it four league teams into the next round.
