ANY ONE OF FOUR TEAMS COULD BE TOP ON TUESDAY EVENING

There’s eight Premier Division matches to choose from on Tuesday and the evening could end with any one of four teams leading the table.

Coggeshall Town are currently in second position behind Histon as they embark on a tricky trip to Saffron Walden Town, fresh from a comprehensive 5-0 win over Thetford on Saturday. In third place Felixstowe & Walton United will be looking to preserve their 100% record as they entertain Kirkley & Pakefield, yet to win this season. Should both Coggeshall and Felixstowe lose then Thetford Town could go top with a big win over Great Yarmouth Town.

There are also Premier Division matches at Fakenham Town, Ipswich Wanderers, Stanway Rovers and Newmarket Town, while Walsham le Willows travel to Wroxham looking to keep their unbeaten start to the season intact.

The First Division features matches at March Town United and Team Bury, whose visitors Debenham LC have yet to taste defeat this season.

HISTON GO TOP

Histon, unbeaten since their return to the Eastern Counties League, have gone top of the Premier Division after beating Godmanchester Rovers 4-2 on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon. Matthew Hayden scored two of the goals that helped Histon to a 4-0 lead before Goddy hit back with two second half strikes.

The other two Bank Holiday Monday Premier Division matches ended 2-1 with FC Clacton coming from behind to overcome Hadleigh United and Haverhill Borough beating Wivenhoe Town.

Whitton United eased to a 3-0 success over Little Oakley to go second in the First Division. Wales, Cole and Rampley scored their goals.
