The Seasiders also have a 100% league record following a 2-1 home success against Godmanchester Rovers. Histon remain unbeaten despite being held 2-2 at home by previously pointless Kirkley & Pakefield with Lee Smith scoring both goals for the Stutes. Another unbeaten side are Walsham le Willows whose four games so far have all been away because of ground unavailability. Next up for Paul Smith’s side is a trip to 100% Haverhill Rovers next Saturday.
Wivenhoe Town gained their first points of the season after leaving Fakenham Town, still to open their account, with a 2-1 success.
Woodbridge Town maintained the pace at the top of the First Division after beating Downham Town 4-0 with Halstead Town now second after overcoming previously 100% Whitton United 2-0. Holland FC, who had been second, came unstuck 4-0 at King’s Lynn Town Reserves. However, the really eye-catching result was Little Oakley 10 Team Bury 1.
