Felixstowe & Walton United demonstrated their Championship ambitions on Saturday with a 3-0 victory over previously unbeaten Histon in front of 440 spectators. Kerridge, Francis and Chaplin scored the goals. The three points took the Seasiders to the top of the table for the first time this season with previous leaders Coggeshall Town losing 3-2 at Thetford Town, who are now second.

Next Saturday Thetford are at home to Felixstowe.

Elsewhere in the Premier Division Ipswich Wanderers gained their first victory of the season and there were also wins for Haverhill Rovers, Godmanchester Rovers, Brantham Athletic, Ely City, Newmarket Town and Walsham le Willows.

In the First Division leaders Woodbridge Town had an impressive 3-1 win at Swaffham Town while second and third placed Whitton United and Holland FC also had victories. Debenham LC, the only Thurlow Nunn League side unbeaten in all matches this season, are now fourth after beating Norwich United Reserves 1-0.
