2018/19 SEASON KICKS OFF ON FRIDAY EVENING

The 2018/19 Thurlow Nunn League season begins on Friday evening with two Premier Division fixtures – Hadleigh United v. FC Clacton and Histon v. Haverhill Rovers.

Saturday sees Framlingham Town playing at Ely City in their first ever Step 5 game and there are the first ever matches in the new First Division North and South Divisions. Harleston Town,  Mulbarton Wanderers, Lakenheath, Frenford, Newbury Forest, Hashtag United, Lopes Tavares, Burnham Ramblers, May & Baker, White Ensign and Wormley Rovers all make their Thurlow Nunn League debuts and there is a welcome return for Harwich & Parkeston as well as a first senior appearance for Felixstowe & Walton United Reserves. In addition Holland have their first league fixture on their newly revamped Dulwich Road ground.

PAUL SMITH LEAVES WALSHAM LE WILLOWS FOOTBALL CLUB

Paul Smith has agreed to step down as manager of Walsham le Willows Football club.  The club would like to put on record our thanks and appreciation for Paul’s remarkable efforts in taking us on the journey from the Suffolk and Ipswich League to the Thurlow Nunn Premier League, the Senior Cup triumph, league titles and marvellous times along the way.  His contribution has been immense and he will always be welcome at Walsham Sports Club, a true football man, outstanding individual and someone who has had an outstanding career as a player and manager.

We wish Paul every success in the future and once again thank him for his contribution to our club.
