This weekend sees the return of the FA Cup with all Premier Division and seven First Division sides stepping out on a journey that potentially leads to Wembley in May.

Thetford Town and Fakenham Town meet at Mundford Road to kick off the Extra Preliminary Round action on Friday evening. All other matches are on Saturday with a 3pm kick off, apart from the Haverhill Rovers v. Haverhill Borough derby which is being streamed live at 12.30 on several BBC platforms. The FA Cup will also be on view at the New Croft.

The two First Divisions have got off to an interesting start and have attracted good crowds – there were almost 300 at Harwich & Parkeston’s Tuesday night clash with Holland FC. The action continues on Saturday when Fire United become the final one of the new teams to make their Thurlow Nunn League debut. They begin at the National League ground of Braintree Town Reserves.
